This article is designed to help you utilize Screenpop add-on for the Thread Reminders System.
To use Screenpop, open a browser and go to app.threadcommunication.com. You will be provided login credentials when set up is complete. Use these to log in.
- Go to the Account tab at the bottom left. Toggle on the "Call/Message Notifications" option.
- Screenpop is now enabled. As long as this window is active (could be minimized or open on your current browser) you will receive a Screenpop with phone number and patient name in the pop. Please note that patient name information will show up only if the number is associated with the patient in your practice management system. You are able to click on this Screenpop and be take directly to the patient page in Thread.
- Enabling Screenpop also allows your staff to access your call logs directly in Thread. You will be able to click on the Call Log tab and see incoming, outgoing and missed calls and which extensions they went to/came from. A voicemail message appears as a red recorder icon and the audio and text transcription are available in the call log.
- You will also be able to see call history for a specific patient on their Thread patient page by selecting the Calls section in the top right.
